Tulu

Tulu is a god in Light Scar representing chaos, trickery, and all things considered evil. They are almost universally depicted as a massive, serpentine dragon with eyes trailing across its entire body.

Lore

Tulu is a god created by The Core God, but was manipulated by The Voice to become malicious. They are responsible for all of the supernatural features of Light Scar, and purely seek to torment the creations of their sibling gods. They gave the world magic in order to create an unpredictable, destructive force that can throw the world out of order.

Followers of Tulu are extremely rare, but most are known to become some variety of Cryptid within Light Scar. They show worship by causing general dismay and conflict in the world, showing cult-like behaviors to please their god. Those that are strongly aligned with Tulu gain corrupting and dispelling magics, allowing them strong control over Tulu’s tool for chaos.

Tulu is believed to be a jealous god. Rather than creating for the world like the other gods, Tulu would try to make a mess of what already exists. They possess the moons of all worlds containing sapient life and implant them with their eyes, giving constant view of these places. This possession is why cryptids, demons, and the most magically inclined feel extreme swings in personality depending on the phase of the moon.

At one point in the world’s development, Tulu would intrude on Esk’s efforts to bring Balance to Shaila’s creations. They took the many fears and calamities Esk created and gave them living vessels, creating the demons of Light Scar’s Underworld plane. Through the moons, Tulu could watch the developments of each world and create new devils accordingly.
