Caul is a recurring character in the Alma’s Prophecy story. Her full history is largely unknown, but she originated from Altevo’s Emerald City. While her personality is not very emotive, she takes great pride in her medical expertise. Due to her lack of a last name, she is often referred to as “Doctor Caul” or just Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caul is reserved and lacks certain emotional qualities. She never shows most emotions physically, but still experiences them internally. Typically, her expression is purely verbal, with the exception of if she’s calm or alert. Otherwise, Caul is extremely practical and professional. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perfect Diagnosis<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Caul possesses the ability to diagnose the condition of one’s body and soul through the smallest of medical analyses. This ability functions through Ki, and gives Caul an uncanny ability to perform as a doctor and surgeon. In a combat scenario, this helps her find and exploit critical weaknesses in an opponent and swiftly assist allies through field medicine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Mana Needler” Syndrome<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Caul is incapable of using magic due to a condition that prevents her from condensing magic energy into spells. If she attempts to cast a spell, or use an item that casts magic through her, the magic energy “shatters” and dissipates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matadorial Combat<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Caul’s style of fighting involves goading and riposting her opponents. This requires her to be swift and alert, making Caul extremely hard to catch off guard in combat. Despite her small stature, Caul seems to possess an uncanny ability to draw the ire of her targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caul has similar patterns to a Siamese cat, but with a grey palette instead of tan and brown. Her hair is short and straight, while purposefully covering her left eye. Caul is much shorter than the average Luclot. Her Mana Needler syndrome manifests a physical change in her pupil, as it is split into three parts. This is most noticeable when her pupils are dilated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clothing<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Caul wears a white button up shirt and pants that are baggy from the knee up, but act as tight leggings from the knee down, as well as black gloves. This gives a professional look to her clothing, while remaining somewhat fashioned for swift movement. She wears a wide, belt-like harness that connects to a medical bad on her thigh. While being a tool for her role as a field medic, it also acts as a corset by tightening the clothing around her waist. On top of this, Caul wears a flashy, dark blue jacket. It features many gold and white tassels, and the shoulders have the pattern of multiple lavender flowers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
